PUBLISHING

The Charles E. Walters Company was organized to provide a venue for gifted writers who are beginning their public careers.

The company’s latest publication is “Marietta and the Creeping Nasties,” a children’s book by Seattle’s Shannon Perry. Shannon is a good friend and an imaginative writer.  In college, I received the most remarkable letters from her, with details about travels in Britain and throughout Europe.  I knew then that she was a wonderful writer and I wanted to do everything I could to help promote her work.

I should also add that I met Shannon through her father, Professor George Perry, who was one of my favorite professors in college.  George Perry has had a huge influence on my life and I know he’s had an equally great impact on the lives of hundreds of other students.  I am very happy to help in the publication of Shannon’s first novel and to be a part of Perry family history.
